Going into time travel, Dot has moved around in three dimensions of time (past, present and future). Hence, time is not linear.
Coming back in time, we’re in the crazy years of 1920s with flamboyant clothes, energetic lifestyles, jazz music and plenty of dance clubs. The Jazz Age, term coined by the writer F. Scott Fitzgerald to describe the lively rhythm, was a feature of the 1920s as well as pleasure seeking, freedom and the bohemian spirit of partying. Having fun was the ultimate rule. A decade of contrasts, an era marked by cultural, economic, political and social changes and by technological advances as the large scale use of telephones, radios, electricity, motion pictures and automobiles. Aviation had a cycle of boom as well.
Although the most famous cartoon character, Mickey Mouse, was created in the late 1920s (1928) by Walt Disney, Felix the Cat was the popular cartoon character of the decade, making its debut at the end of 1919, drawing movie audiences in the silent movie era.

Led by the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, Dot found this exactly atmosphere into a French style restaurant, a typical bistro named La Tartine, where vibes raise automatically in joy and one can find a sense of fulfilment while having dinner. Lightning creates the perfect atmosphere as if it was lit with candles. Rooms are decorated in soft, warm, candy colours such as light green, yellow, blue and purple on the walls. This warm colour palette resonates powerfully with liveliness, happiness and excitement, revealing great attention to details, objects and pictures on the walls.
Any occasion to meet friends, family, peers or dates – whether it be a special or an informal one – asks for celebration at this cosy venue. Charming, colourful vintage decor and furniture, with waiters wearing black bow ties, truly bring out the sweet flavour of parties. If you need to raise vibration, La Tartine is the magic place to cheer you up.
The most frequent sound is the clinking glasses for a toast, which is certainly a scene to behold. Every glass of wine is an invitation to taste life to the fullest. Delicious homemade food is prepared with the love of fresh products and pure ingredients to delight your senses. Music matches perfectly with the aromatic French cuisine. Staff is great, always ready to recommend you how to best pair wine with food. The nice owner, Xavier Le Blanc, greets guests and friends at the table.
Be ready to move to a higher, vivid and funny dimension in real life, just like being in a movie scene portrayed in pastel shades through a unique filter, which exposes you to high emotions and feelings of love and friendship.
As there’s no time-space constraint, right after this tasty meal, just head straight to central London’s secret 1920s party at the Candlelight Club where you can sip elegant cocktails while reliving the Roaring Twenties with an authentic Jazz Age experience. A venue completely lit by candles with retro-DJs and dancing to live jazz bands. For a complete experience, dress up as dandies and flappers.
Yet the 1920s have gone by and revealed marked contrasts, fun mode is timeless. There’s always room for the spirit in search of great fun and joy. Cheers!
